Dr. Matthias Leschok ist Mitgründer und COO der SAEKI Robotics AG, einem ETH-Zürich-Spin-off, das automatisierte Mikrofabriken für die grossformatige robotische Fertigung in der Bauindustrie entwickelt. 2024 promovierte er an der ETH Zürich am Lehrstuhl für Digital Building Technologies mit einer Arbeit zu Hollow-Core 3D Printing (HC3DP) – einem patentierten polymerbasierten additiven Fertigungsverfahren für leichte, hochleistungsfähige Gebäudehüllen. Seine Forschung verbindet Architektur, Materialwissenschaft, Bauphysik und Tragwerksplanung. Er hält ein Dipl.-Ing. (mit Auszeichnung) des KIT sowie ein MAS in Architecture and Digital Fabrication der ETH Zürich. Seine aktuelle Arbeit verbindet Forschung und industrielle Umsetzung und untersucht, wie computergestütztes Entwerfen, Robotik und Materialintelligenz das Bauen verändern.
Arbeitsthema
Fassaden bestimmen massgeblich den Materialverbrauch und Energiebedarf von Gebäuden. Hollow-Core 3D Printing (HC3DP) integriert strukturelle, thermische und optische Funktionen direkt auf der Fertigungsebene und ermöglicht leichte, materialeffiziente Gebäudehüllen. Aktuelle Arbeiten überführen die Technologie in die industrielle Produktion.
