Special performance of Technology Artist Dr. Madeline Gannon on 9th May

It is our pleasure to announce a performance by Dr. Madeline Gannon, to be held at Robotic Fabrication Laboratory (RFL) on May 9th. Madeline is a multidisciplinary designer forging new futures for human-robot relations and has been previously described by Wired magazine as a «Robot Whisperer». Her mission is to make robotics and other advanced technologies open, accessible, and interesting to as diverse an audience as possible.

During her two-month creative residency at the Institute of Technology in Architecture at ETH Zurich, she has been developing a way for our giant construction robots in the RFL to see and respond to her in real time. She will give a live demonstration as part of the Digital Matters - Digital Materiality Symposium.

For non-symposium attendees, a second performance will take place also on May May 9th at 19:30 CET. Space in the RFL is limited, so a repeat performances may be presented depending on demand.
