Corporate Policy Changes? The Employer’s Perspective
- Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch (Professor of Leadership at the University of St. Gallen & founder of the energy factory St. Gallen): «Leading in the New Normal – Dos & Don’ts for a real new work transition»
- Nora Keller, PhD (Uni SG): «Covid-19 Policy Changes: Unintended Adverse Consequences for Women?»
The Covid-19 crises has led to a range of changes towards the digitalization of organizations and the new work transformation. However, only a few companies are leveraging the full potential of the new normal. The reason is that the unsuccessful companies are purely focusing on the establishment of new structures and processes but not on the development of a modern working culture and leadership. For a real new work transformation certain steps for a cultural and leadership transformation need to be initiated to profit from the current changes on the long run.
Nora Keller, PhD, is a postdoc research fellow and project manager at the Competence Centre for Diversity & Inclusion (CCDI), which is part of the Research Institute for International Management at the University of St. Gallen (FIM-HSG). At the CCDI, she provides consulting on D&I questions to companies and organizations. In particular, she specializes in qualitative analysis methods such as interviews and focus groups to assess inclusion culture. Nora Keller received a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University in 2017.
