Tomorrow's Timber - On-Line Symposium, 5th October 2021

Tuesday, October 5^th the NCCR Digital Fabrication will jointly host the next installment in our Seminar Series on “Innovation and Risk” with Swiss Re.

This seminar series is targeted at the wider construction and manufacturing sector, pairing presentations from researchers and innovative practitioners, with experts from industry. The goal of the 2hr symposium is to foster discussion concerning the balance between innovation and risk in construction.

Following the successful first seminar in July on the topic of Glass, the next seminar will focus on Timber. Invited presentations from Dr. Ania Apolinarska (GKR) and Dr. Kai Strehlke (Blumer Lehman AG), will be complimented with presentation from industry and insurance experts.
