Project 1C: Integrated 3D Printing Facade
The integrative facade project aims to identify the feasibility of 3D printing as a fabrication method of sustainable and performant facade components. Within the goal of the building sector decarbonisation, this project aims to propose high performance building components, fabricated as a mono-material easy to recycle at the end of its life cycle; thus, a reduction of operational and embodied emissions is envisioned.
Project 1C comprises the following work packages:
1) Design and fabrication of 3DP facade elements
2) Add on/in glass printing
3) Performance analysis
