First Floor of the Tor Alva Assembled
Tor Alva, the tallest 3D concrete printed structure with load-bearing 3D printed material, is making significant progress on site. The existing building, acting as the base and hosting the main entrance, was structurally reinforced to support the addition of the tower. The doubly curved articulation between the existing construction and the 3D-printed columns has been successfully cast and demoulded. Additionally, the assembly of columns for level one has been completed. This fast assembly process of columns on-site highlights the benefits of prefabrication and modular construction, demonstrating efficient and innovative building techniques.
