DFAB Family and Friends Day

After almost two years of restrictions on visitors to our labs, researchers within these collaborating programmes at ETH Zurich were happy to host their spouses, children, friends and extended family. Visits were conducted in small groups to both there Immersive Design Lab (IDL) and the Robotic Fabrication Lab (RFL) where visitors were presented with demonstration of different technologies being investigated at ETH Zurich. Topics included Architectural VR project collaborations, Acoustic design for rooms, Computer Augmented working tools, Robotic 3D printing, and Robotic construction. The day of visits was a great success, and planning is already in discussion to make this an annual event.
