Impressions Future of Construction Symposiums

From June 21 to 23, the Future of Construction Symposiums took place for the first time. Almost 600 participants from all over the world devoted three days to construction robotics and computational design for sustainable construction. The recordings can now be watched online.

A hall filled with the buzz of voices and handshakes - there hasn't been anything like it in a long time. 300 people traveled to Zurich for The Future of Construction (FoC) Symposiums. Nearly 300 more joined virtually from around the world to hear the voices of digital fabrication.

The Future of Construction Symposiums was developed in collaboration with researchers and professors from NCCR Digital Fabrication and researchers from the Design++ Network. Next year, the FoC Symposiums will enter its second round. NCCR DFAB Alumni Kathrin Dörfler is hosting the 2023 symposium at the Technical University of Munich.
