National Future Day 2024 with Design++
On the Swiss National Future Day, children aged 10-12 are invited to the workplace of adults to explore different career opportunities. Together with Design++, ETH Zurich, the NCCR Digital Fabrication hosted a group of 22 children at the Institute of Technology in Architecture, ETH Zurich and organized an interactive activity. The children were able to paint with collaborative robots, experience how a large robot can build towers in the Robotic Fabrication Lab and then have their dream house virtually drawn with artificial intelligence.The programme was rounded off with a cantilever building competition.
