The Annual Parity Talks Celebrate International Women’s Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day (Tuesday March 8th) the NCCR Digital Fabrication partnered with the ETH Department of Architecture and the Parity Group for the annual Parity Talks Symposium. This year the annual symposium was entitled “Upkeep” and focused on self-reflection and the current status of gender movements and issues in architecture and at the department.

“In the wake of the Engage DARCH Report which identified and highlighted the work of all the grassroots self-organized initiatives, this year we are supporting and enabling these groups to help us construct the culture of the school from within.”

'Parity Talks VII: Upkeep' took place in person in the Arch_Tec_Lab. It was launched on March 7^th with the Athena Lecture by Gabu Heindl, followed by a day of workshops, discussions and talks on March 8^th.
