Ammar is an architect and automation expert with over 10 years experience working in digital fabrication and robotic construction systems. He completed his doctoral work on fabrication of tensile structures using drones within Gramazio Kohler Research (GKR) in 2016. Following this he was a postdoc researcher at GKR, developing and teaching topics of additive fabrication and robotic construction, including the Mesh Mould research. In 2021 Ammar founded MESH AG.
