Lucas
Nascimento de Lima
Lucas Lima is a current PhD student at ETH Zürich, working with durability of digital concrete. His research, supervised by Prof. Dr. Robert J. Flatt and Dr. Timothy Wangler, focus in addressing the effects of shrinkage in the crack formation and long-term performance of 3D printed structures. During his bachelor he volunteered to integrate the group of durability of building materials at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (2018), where he also conducted his Master's Degree (2020-2022) on the degradation of cementitious materials with high limestone filler content.
Work Topic
The current research aims to evaluate the effects of shrinkage on the crack formation of elements produced using 3D printing of concrete.
