My goal is to make robots
18 years experience developing and field testing robots that actually work in the real world. Including autonomous systems for boats, drones, mobile manipulators, AMRs, for groups such as Nvidia, Microsoft, Google (ok, StreetView, but almost a robot), ETH, and Willow Garage. Currently focused on mobile robotics that navigate through and interact with their environment safely and reliably. And most importantly, how to make sure these robots do useful tasks that humans shouldn't.
