Dr. Yvonne R. Stürz received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in mechanical engineering from TU Munich, Germany, and the Diplôme d’Ingénieur in general engineering sciences from EC Paris (now CentraleSupélec), France. She joined the NCCR Digital Fabrication in 2014 as a PhD at the Automatic Control Laboratory, ETH Zurich, studying novel methods for on-site precision form control of lightweight flexible formwork and on distributed control of interconnected systems. In 2019, she was awarded the prestigious Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Global Individual Fellowship.
