Dr. Adel Arash


Dr. Arash Adel is an architect, educator, and researcher investigating computational design methods and large-scale robotic manufacturing techniques in Architecture. Prior to joining Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning as a Postdoctoral Fellow, he was an NCCR Digital Fabrication associated Ph.D. Research Fellow at the Chair of Architecture and Digital Fabrication at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. In October 2015, he was awarded one of ETH’s prestigious and highly competitive “Architecture & Technology” doctoral fellowships. Before joining ETH Zurich, he was a lecturer in Architecture at the University of California (UC), Berkeley, and the recipient of the Weller Research Fellowship in Architecture at Washington State University (WSU). He holds a Master in Architecture from Harvard University.
