Norman Blank is an established expert in material and construction science. He worked at SIKA AG since 1991, where he was Director of Corporate Research, and then Chief of Research Officer, a position he held until his retirement in 2014.
Norman Blank was a member of the NCCR DFAB External Advisory Board, where he consulted on numerous research and demonstrator projects.
In 2018 Norman Blank and the ETH Foundation initiated the Norman Blank Prize for Innovation. An annual prize for 5 years to award the most promising research from the NCCR Digital Fabrication.
