Sandie Kate Fenton is an Architectural Engineer with interests in structural design, sustainability and advanced architectural technologies. She graduated from the Brussels Faculty of Engineering, Belgium, in 2018. As part of her master course, she spent one exchange year in EPFL Lausanne and specialized in structural, dynamic and seismic design. She then joined the ITKE Institute for Building Structure and Structural Design at the University of Stuttgart, where she assisted research projects on biomimetic design in Architecture. Her interest for biomimicry and innovative and sustainable building inspired her master thesis, "Biomimetic design-based mechanisms in Architecture".
