Prof. Dr. Agathe Koller-Hodac
Agathe Koller is Professor for Mechatronics and Automation Technology at the Hochschule für Technik in Rapperswil, Switzerland, where she leads the Institute for Lab Automation and Mechatronics and the Master of Science in Engineering programme. After her studies in mechatronics at EPF Lausanne, Switzerland, she completed her PhD at the Institute of Robotics at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. After her dissertation, she worked in industry in the field of lab automation. Her current fields of activities include the education and further education of students in the fields of robotics and automation as well as applied research and development in the fields of lab automation, collaborative robotics, and rehabilitation technologies. In June 2018, Agathe Koller joined the NCCR Digital Fabrication as an associated investigator.
The ILT group is specialised in applied research and development. For the NCCR DFAB they support the development of mechatronics for prototyping and projects. Competencies include the design of automated robotic systems, simulation and programming of robots and mechatronic solutions, as well as image processing and human-machine interfaces.
