Dr.
Selen
Ercan Jenny
Selen Ercan is a trained architect and a digital fabrication researcher. She studied at METU and TU Delft. She worked in various projects at the Chair of Architecture and Digital Fabrication at ETH Zurich, which focused on applying mobile robots for in-situ construction. She was a researcher and a project coordinator at the Future Cities Laboratory of the Singapore-ETH Centre leading the mobile robotic tiling project, which exploits the commercial potential of applying automation in construction both in Asia and in Europe. In 2018, she was a scientific collaborator at NCCR Digital Fabrication, as part of building strategies for on-site robotic construction research. Since June 2018, she is a PhD researcher at the Chair of Architecture and Digital Fabrication at ETH Zurich, and has contributed to the MAS DFAB as a module tutor in 2021.
