Georgia Chousou was a research assistant at the chair of Digital Building Technologies, Institute of Technology In Architecture (ITA) at the Department of Architecture (D-ARCH) of ETH Zurich until 2023.
She received her Dipl Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens in 2015. Her professional experience includes 3 years of practice in Xcon Xousos Constructions, as well as collaborative projects with several architectural firms in Greece. In 2017 she teamed up with Decode Fab Lab in Athens, to focus on combining conventional design methods with computational tools for the digital fabrication of complex physical models. In 2018 she received her Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture and Digital Fabrication from ETH Zurich. At DBT she focused on FDM 3D-Printed formwork for bespoke concrete staircases.
