Girot
Christophe Girot is Professor for Landscape Architecture at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, since 2001. In his research he addresses topological methods in landscape architecture, new media in landscape analysis and perception, and the history and theory of landscape architecture. Christophe Girot received a double master’s degree of architecture and landscape architecture from the University of California Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in environmental planning from the University of California Davis, both USA. Before coming to ETH Zurich he was Professor for Landscape Architecture at the Versailles School of Landscape Architecture in France from 1990 to 2000. He also holds a practice in Zurich with projects both in Europe and Asia. Christophe Girot joined the NCCR Digital Fabrication in the beginning of 2017 as a principal investigator.
