Christophe Girot ist seit 2001 Professor für Landschaftsarchitektur an der ETH Zürich, Schweiz. In seiner Forschung setzt er sich mit topologischen Methoden der Landschaftsarchitektur, neuen Medien für die Analyse und Wahrnehmung von Landschaft sowie mit der Geschichte und Theorie der Landschaftsarchitektur auseinander. Christophe Girot erhielt einen doppelten Master in Architektur und Landschaftsarchitektur von der University of California Berkeley, und einen Bachelor of Science in Umweltplanung von der University of California Davis, USA. Bevor er an die ETH Zürich kam, war er von 1990 bis 2000 Professor für Landschaftsarchitektur an der Versailles School of Landscape Architecture in Frankreich. Er hat zudem ein Architekturbüro in Zürich, im Rahmen dessen er Projekte in Europa und Asien umsetzt. Christophe Girot trat dem NFS Digitale Fabrikation Anfang 2017 als leitender Forscher bei.
