Dr.
Inés
Ariza
Inés Ariza is an architect and researcher from Buenos Aires. Through her current research work, Inés is developing digital workflows for augmented fabrication using XR, additive manufacturing and robotics. Inés received her Diploma in Architecture with honors from the University of Buenos Aires in 2011, her Master of Science in Design and Computation from MIT in 2016, and her Doctor of Sciences from ETH in 2022 with the thesis “Adaptive Detailing: design and fabrication methods for wire and arc additive manufacturing connection details”. Since November 2023, Inés is a Postdoc researcher at the Chair of Architecture and Digital Fabrication (Prof. Fabio Gramazio, Prof. Matthias Kohler) at the ETH Zurich within the NCCR Digital Fabrication and R&D Project Lead at MESH AG.
